چکیده
This paper obtained a semianalytical solution for the P-wave scattering problem by an arbitrary-shaped canyon in saturated half-space using Biot’s theory, wave function expansion method, and moments method. Firstly, based on Biot fluid-saturated porous media theory potentials which automatically satisfy zero-stress boundary condition surface of are obtained. Then, value is transformed into algebraic method according to conditions, then solved numerically truncation. By adjusting parameters, medium original model approximately degenerates single-phase elastic medium, correctness proposed verified comparing it with published results. Finally, effects shape, porosity soil, incidence angle frequency incident amplitude ground motion investigated. The results show that has significant effect motion, while soil little influence motion. shape mainly reflected shielding wave. Although traditional problem, most analytical solutions limited solving seismic waves geometric regular canyons. However, actual not regular, limits application closed practical engineering. In this paper, P-waves canyons successfully combined numerical method-moments provides possibility engineering application.

متن کاملTorsional Surface Wave Propagation in Anisotropic Layer Sandwiched Between Heterogeneous Half-Space
The present paper studies the possibility of propagation of torsional surface waves in an inhomogeneous anisotropic layer lying between two heterogeneous half-spaces (upper and lower half-space). Both the half-spaces are assumed to be under compressive initial stress. The study reveals that under the assumed conditions, a torsional surface wave propagates in the medium. The dispersion relation ...

Wave Propagation in Mixture of Generalized Thermoelastic Solids Half-Space
This paper concentrates on the reflection of plane waves in the mixture of generalized thermo elastic solid half-space. There exists quasi dilatational waves i.e. qP1, qP2, qT and two rotational waves S1, S2 in a two dimensional model of the solid. The boundary conditions are solved to obtain a system of five non-homogeneous equations for amplitude ratios. These amplitude ratios are found to de...
